Pacifica station WBAI in New York continues to keep Democracy
Now! off the air.
Call the WBAI tally room at (212) 209-2950 on Monday and Tuesday
Say NO to the censorship and harassment of Democracy Now! Keep
calling until you feel you've been heard. Please be polite.
It is important that we keep the pressure on in the last
two days of WBAIıs Spring Fund Drive. In the past, programs yanked
during the fund drive never return.
Your voice is important! Protest WBAI managementıs harassment and
censorship of Amy Goodman and Democracy Now! and demand that
Democracy Now! be played in full, every day.

2. Picket WBAI in New York City Monday and Tuesday. The
pickets will run from 7:30-9:00 am in front of WBAI at 120 Wall St.,
in lower Manhattan. Monday and Tuesday morning are the last days of
the Fund Drive Picket. Join us for coffee, bagels and protest at 120
Wall Street. And remember, weekday afternoon pickets run from
4:30-6:00 pm every working day in front of the station, fund drive
3. Pressure Pacifica National Board Vice Chair Ken Ford to
resign. Ken Ford works at the National Association of Homebuilders
(NAHB), which among other things lobbies against environmental
standards, handicapper accessibility rules, and other constraints on
unfettered profits for the housing industry.
NAHB is having a national conference starting June 5 and
continuing through the weekend. With your help, we're going to make
Ken Ford's impending resignation the topic of that conference.
